But e instead Aela the Huntress opened the marriage dialogue with me, I was confused so I accepted, and we became married. After that Aela had the male marriage dialogue as in calling you dear, rather than love.
I'm confused, can anybody tell me if this is a bug or just an in-game choice? Widely known that you can marry across race and either gender.
All marriageable characters can be married no matter if you're male or female, regardless of your race. As far as her dialogue options, it's probably based on the gender of your character; not your spouse.

Thank you. Before that Aela will call you dear sometimes no matter if your male of female, the dialogue all depends on the voice type i think.
